We talk about early introductions to metal, the Irish scene in the 1990s, travelling to festivals, giving up drinking, music collecting, encounters with Iron Maiden, and a whole lot more! Really enjoyed that I’m nearly of the same generation as (five years older) we’ve probably rubbed shoulders loads of times at gigs but never had the pleasure of meeting the man. I’ll be keeping an eye out for the man! I do remember McGonagles went to many a gig there including Ozzy back in the day with Zakk Wylde, around 1989, he went on the road playing small venues as a warm up for the new band. We’d head to the metal disco in McGonagles after Bruxelles closed.Eamonn
