On the 37th anniversary of his death, Mick Wall and I celebrate the life of legendary Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott. Mick knew Phil back in the 1970s and 1980s, and draws from his extensive catalogue of first-hand stories, as we discuss the greatest Irish rock star of them all.

Great show. Fascinating insight into Phil the man and Phil the rock star. Mick tells a great story, straight from horse’s mouth, telling it like it was back in the day. He’s one of my metal heroes ever since Kerrang days, and the seminal TV music vid show Mick hosted in the late 80s, ’Monsters of Rock’, broadcast by a fledgling SKY TV. He featured the new thrash metal scene, did band interviews, had a huge influence on me and fellow metalheads in Dublin.
